Become a Blender

To become a Blender requires no special skills except the ability to hold a tune. You will be given as much training and support as you need.

Joining the Blenders means that you will be joining a talented group of almost 70 volunteer male singers aged from teens to seniors. They have been Australian National Chorus Champions eight consecutive times and twice Pan Pacific Chorus Champions. they have been Australia’s representative at international competition in Anaheim, California in July 1999 and Denver, Colorado in July 2007.

Their repertoire includes a wide range of musical genres from Johnny O’Keefe to Gershwin, from classical to rock and roll -including ballads, love songs, old songs, new songs and Australiana. All are presented in four-part a cappella (unaccompanied) male vocal harmony with its roots in the barbershop style.

The Blenders have performed for corporate and Christmas occasions, large and small dinners, boardroom events, product launches, official openings, sporting event, conferences, seminars, weddings, Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, and many other special occasions.
