About The Blenders

Formed in 1988 and originally called ‘Banana Blenders’, the Blenders are a non-profit organisation providing entertainment for the pleasure of the community.

They are funded mainly from member subscriptions. However they are also available for hire on a professional basis to perform at corporate events, lunches, seminars, weddings and other occasions. This funding is all directed back to the chorus so that they can continue to offer the community the delight of this unique style of entertainment.

Their repertoire includes a wide range of musical genres from Johnny O’Keefe to Gershwin, from classical to rock and roll; including ballads, love songs, old songs, new songs and Australiana. All presented in four-part a cappella (unaccompanied) male vocal harmony with its roots in the barbershop style.

The Blenders perform for corporate and Christmas occasions, large and small dinners, boardroom events, product launches, official openings, sporting event, conferences, seminars, weddings, Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, and many other special occasions.
