Tsunami Memorial

The Blenders have been called upon previously to perform at a memorial service of a different kind. This was to remember the victims of the devastating Tsunami which hit Indonesia in December 2004.

A combined memorial service for all religions was held at Point Danger in January 2005. With the congregation looking out to sea as the various representatives spoke, one thing that was clear, everyone realised what a magnificent country we live in.

With the sounds of ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ ringing across the headland there were not many dry eyes to be seen.
