Pan-Pacific Champions

In October 2004 The Blenders travelled to Christchurch, New Zealand to defend their title as Pan Pacific chorus champions. Having won the title four years earlier in Melbourne some detractors suggested that it couldn’t be done again, away from home turf in another country. So with an almost 70 strong contingent – mostly self funded, the Blenders made their way across the Tasman.

The competition was hotly contested by choruses from Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Japan. The Blenders won the title again and all of their hard work and professional approach to rehearsals paid off.
